About Lifetime Montessori

Welcome To Your "Children's House"

At Lifetime Montessori School (LMS), a private preschool, primary and elementary school for children aged 18 months through Grade Six, we offer carefully crafted programs which blend classroom and real-world experiences to build learners rather than memorizers. Using Maria Montessori’s methodology, children work at their own speed with experienced, specialized teachers who give them the freedom to succeed at their own level and pace.

Primary children aged three to six years old are offered an English/Spanish Bilingual Immersion program to fluently speak both English and their non-native language by the completion of Kindergarten.

Building your child's academic, social, artistic and intellectual growth is our mission. It is what drives us. Through individualized learning, our private Montessori school stimulates, challenges and creates a ‘whole child’ who loves to learn--and express that curiosity today and for a lifetime.

Education is about learning and growth.

We are focused on training children to succeed as adults through curricula, curiosity, self-realization and problem solving. Their growth is expressed daily in class and is seen and heard at your dinner table every night. Our method guides your child to excel from our gifted schooling approach. They learn as individuals on their own—not as a group memorizing for a test.

Our goal is to give your children the academic and social tools to succeed. From their adorable preschool years through Sixth Grade, we build skill sets that propel their growth. Ultimately, we watch them from afar as middle and high schoolers preparing for college.

Given that Spanish is spoken throughout Southern California, our English/Spanish Bilingual Immersion primary program was created as a timeless, useful communication--and business skill--to benefit your kids today and in Workforce 2040.

In our Immersion program, primary children become partners in a daily regimen of learning with two teachers in one classroom. Since children absorb everything early,  words are taught in English one day by the English teacher and Spanish with the Spanish teacher the next. Using both languages builds additional pathways for them to apply in other subjects like math and science.

For example, during circle time, teachers will take turns conducting reading, stories and songs—one day in English and the next day in Spanish. Quickly, these two languages begin to merge from pictures and individual vocabulary words in separate languages into full sentences in both languages. This limited availability program was designed to create early bilingual verbal fluency and has been met with solid kudos since its introduction.

Watch with wonder as our youngest children progress from basic tasks to an understanding about themselves, their immediate surroundings, and the world around them via the Montessori Method. Then, see how quickly they naturally assimilate words via our two-teacher, two-language approach.

Our Vision

Lifetime Montessori School aims to cultivate children to be independent free thinkers, joyful learners, confident individuals and active participants in their community. Our goal is to work with a diverse group of families that feel confident parenting with the Montessori methodology—allowing their children freedom of choice, exploration and discovery. Together, the school and community will produce children who care for their environment, value their community, are inspired to follow their own path, and will excel in all areas of interest.

Our Mission

Lifetime Montessori School provides children 18 months to 12 years old with a full, stimulating and enriching experience based on Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) ideologies. Working hands-on with AMI Montessori materials and highly trained teachers, children become joyful and confident learners who know they can excel at anything they put their mind to.

Our school supports children by collaborating with community members to meet each of their unique needs, and we support our families by engaging, inspiring, and educating parents on a daily basis. Every family member is invited to participate in informative and stimulating events held at the school throughout the year. Each moment children experience at Lifetime Montessori School encourages and allows them to reach their full potential.

Dear Parents,

The Montessori approach to education cultivates more than knowledge; it is "education for life" - this is why we named our school Lifetime Montessori.  Our program prepares your child to become a lifelong learner and problem solver.

Lifetime Montessori School's mission is to foster a nurturing environment that is physically and psychologically supportive of learning for toddlers through Grade 6.  We offer a cooperative and enriching atmosphere where your child will develop their knowledge through self- and teacher-initiated experiences.  When children graduate from Lifetime Montessori School they are confident, secure, independent and joyful learners.

Dr. Montessori founded the first Casa dei Bambini, or "Children's House" in 1907.  Today we honor her legacy by following all Association Montessori International (AMI) standards and aim to make our school your "Children's House".

Lifetime Montessori School is located in the heart of Santaluz and serves children 18 months old through age 12 in  the Santaluz, Del Sur, 4S Ranch, Rancho Santa Fe, Rancho Penasquitos and Carmel Valley communities. Please visit us for a detailed tour and observation, we'd be happy to meet you!
