Esmeralda Del Rio (Fireflies - Spanish Speaking Teacher)

Esmeralda is super passionate and dedicated. She brings her rich cultural background and Spanish language skills into her educational approach. Esmeralda has completed a 0-6 First Plane of Development Certification and is currently working towards the 3-6 Primary Diploma Certification at the Montessori Center of Minnesota, which is an Association Montessori International accredited institution. On top of her dedication to Montessori Education, Esmeralda is also finishing up an Early Childhood Education program at the University of California San Diego Extended Studies. Plus, she holds an associate's degree in Merchandise Marketing. Her approach is all about creating a prepared environment and encouraging respect for each learner's journey of growth and self-discovery so that every child feels valued and can express themselves freely.
