Mr. Daniel Yang (Firefly Classroom - English Speaking Teacher)

Daniel Yang was born and raised in Nanjing, China, where he majored in biotechnology in college. He later obtained a master's degree at the National University. During the pandemic, he worried about his 3 years old daughter's education. He learned about the Montessori education method and applied it with good results to his daughter's education. Later he went to Montessori Institute San Diego (MISD) for more systematic and professional training. During his training, Daniel worked as a teaching assistant at Mission Bay Montessori Academic (MBMA). After graduating from MISD, he worked as a co-teacher in the same school. In his spare time, he teaches Chinese at San Diego State University and enjoys taking his daughter to the zoo and various outdoor activities.
