Ms. Iana Startseva (Centipede - English Speaking Teacher)

Iana grew up in snowy and beautiful Russia and loves to go home and visit her family on holidays, go skiing and have a great time with her grandma. Iana graduated Chelyabinsk State Pedagogical University in Russia and has a bachelor’s degree in Teaching Russian Language and Literature. Iana’s mom was a fantastic role model so she decided to be just like her and become a teacher.  After being an Assistant Teacher at LMS, she decided to do the training to become a Head Teacher.  She received her AMI diploma from the Montessori Institue of San Diego and was thrilled to be hired as a Teacher back at LMS.  Her previous experience includes teaching in an early childhood development center, years of babysitting, and working at a Montessori school in Chicago. She sincerely loves to work with children; their smiles are the best reward!
