Ms. Mònica is a certified Montessori Guide with a background in building engineering and a specialization in Interior Design. After eight years managing a kitesurfing company that fueled her passion for outdoor sports, the birth of her son prompted a significant personal transformation. This led her to question traditional education and explore the philosophies of Emmi Pikler, Maria Montessori, Elinor Goldschmied, and Penny Ritscher.

Through observing her son's natural development towards independence under respectful and autonomous guidance, she was inspired to pivot her career to share this gift with other children.

For the past three years, Mònica has guided children aged 3 to 6 in Primary Montessori classrooms. She skillfully combines her design expertise with Montessori principles to create inspiring environments that promote child independence.

Her approach to classroom management focuses on Positive Discipline and Emotional Intelligence, fostering a safe, respectful, and connected community. Mònica is passionate about outdoor learning and has received special training in Forest School pedagogy, which enables her to connect nature with Maria Montessori’s core ideas.

Originally from Barcelona, Spain, and a native Spanish speaker, she brings a rich linguistic and cultural immersion into the classroom.
